Most registers ask you to type. Ours asks you to look.

Industry audits find 10 to 30 percent of listed assets no longer exist and up to 65 percent of records are incomplete. Kit Catalogue builds the record from what is physically in front of you, then reconciles it against whatever register you already have. Blank fields get filled. Ghost assets get flagged.

Every record carries a market estimate. On Business, a depreciation schedule for your jurisdiction sits beside it. Kit Catalogue forecasts asset and portfolio values from there, using depreciation aligned to how each category actually holds its value, so the figure at the top of your dashboard is a current one, not last June's guess.

What is Kit Catalogue?+

An AI-powered asset register for businesses that own physical things: machinery, equipment, IT, furniture and fit-out, vehicles. You photograph an asset and Kit Catalogue identifies it, extracts its identifiers, enriches it with specs, values it, and keeps that value current.

How accurate is the identification?+

Branded equipment, machinery, IT and vehicles come back right from clear photos. Serial numbers, model and compliance plates, and registration plates are read as text, and the make, model and year are checked against real listings and manufacturer pages on the web. Unusual or unbranded items get a best guess, and anything it cannot work out is left blank rather than invented. You can edit every field, and what you type is kept as the answer.

I already have a register. Do I start again?+

No. Import your existing register as a CSV, then walk the site with the app. Kit Catalogue matches what you photograph to existing rows, fills the blanks, and flags anything on the register it couldn't find.

Where do the valuations come from?+

From recent sale and auction comparables for the same make, model, age and condition, adjusted for hours, kilometres or usage where we have them. They are estimates with a visible range, useful for insurance schedules, finance conversations and disposal decisions. They are not certified valuations.

What kinds of things can it catalogue?+

Anything a business owns and would want on a register: production machinery, forklifts and materials handling, vehicles and trailers, commercial kitchen and refrigeration, IT and electronics, furniture and fit-out, tools, and specialist equipment for clinics, gyms and workshops. Branded items with a model or serial plate come back most complete. Unbranded things still get a record, photos and a value you can set yourself.

How much does it cost?+

Free covers 20 items and two users. Essential is A$39 a month for 150 assets and five users. Business is A$109 for 500 items with 20 users, and adds depreciation schedules, insurance valuations, finance tracking, test and tag, sites and custody. Asset tags, instructions pages, sale pages, importing a register you already have and the audit log are on every plan. Pay for a year and two months are free. Go over your item count and the extras are 15c an item a month, never more than the next plan up. Extra users are $1 each a month. See the full schedule. Is my data secure?+

Yes. Data is hosted in Australia, encrypted in transit and at rest, signed in with a one-time code rather than a password, with a full audit trail. We never sell your data. We may use it to improve how Kit Catalogue identifies and values things; the terms say what that covers.
